Hello! I'm some Human from the Internet and I created this site because I wanted to.
I think like many people on here I am a bit tired of the fact that the Internet has been taken over by giant cooperations that are focused on making money. I am slightly too young to know the time before the web but old enough to see how it changed. I was never really active on social media and abandoned the ship(s) over the years and came to the conclusion that it is not good for humanity in the current form. I lerned about how the Internet started and what the great Tim Berners Lee (and others) had envisioned back in the day and I sometimes wonder if we all live in the wrong timeline. I love technology and obviously there is great potential here, so I got excited when I learned that this place exists. A small, kind of hidden place where the web is made by people and actual creativity. So I wanted to give this a try and set up my own silly neocities site.
I am interested in computer stuff, programming, hardware, science in general but I have a thing for space. I also love nature and cooking good and healthy food. I like movies, some more then others, and I learned editing and sound design.
I don't really know how this site will evolve, but there's a chance it rill reflect my interests in one way or another. I have no plans other than creating a small space to tinker around and learn and hopefully connect with some other people. So feel free to follow, leave a comment in my Guestbook if you want and be part of the journey. I want to try and document my neocities journey as good as I can.
